About

I am an Associate at the Institute for New Economic Thinking at the Oxford Martin School. I have a DPhil in Geography and the Environment from the University of Oxford.

My research has focused on firm-level production networks, network reconstruction, integrated assessment models and sustainability. My work has had the common thread of building new macroeconomic input-output models that account for economy-Earth system interactions and that can serve as a laboratory for understanding how to address current challenges and explore new possible futures.

I'm interested in complexity science, ecological economics, post-growth, agent-based models and data science. I am passionate about understanding different paradigms of societal and economic system transformations that could help us overcome the challenges we currently face, such as the climate and ecological crises, inequality and global justice.
